Why I Do What I Do

I am Brian Turner, an experienced Bryan family law attorney whose practice is completely committed to representing men in divorce. I have focused on working with fathers in divorce since 2009, after I went through my own combative post-divorce ordeal in which I faced every challenge imaginable. You can read more about why I represent fathers here.

I like the term "legal counselor" because I both advise my clients about the law as it pertains to their situation and I counsel them on how to most effectively resolve disputes.

I speak candidly with my clients and remain mindful of their budget. The cost of hiring a lawyer can escalate quickly when litigation is necessary. I am always prepared to go to trial when it makes sense to do so, but I aim to resolve as much as possible through negotiation and, if necessary, mediation. My background in business law before I transitioned to strictly practicing family law serves my clients well if there are complex marital assets to value and divide. You can learn more about work experience and education by clicking on the link below.
