Standing Up for the Rights of Fathers
Family law issues are extremely difficult for everyone involved. This is especially true when the family dispute involves child custody and support issues. Since beginning my career as a lawyer in 1991, I have seen the rights of fathers to see their children and to have a substantial role in their upbringing diminished during a custody battle. I don't believe this is fair. That is why I am committed to the representation of fathers and the protection of their rights.
A Unique Perspective on Family Law
I understand the situation many of my clients are facing on a deeply personal level. I am a father and I have been through a divorce, and have been forced to continually battle to prevent abuses of the legal system. Because I have dealt with these issues personally in my own family, I bring a deep understanding and perspective to these cases. I have been in the courtroom, fighting with my ex-wife over child custody and other matters. I have seen firsthand how a father's rights are often ignored in favor of the mother's. I have the insight and the knowledge to fight back.
Additionally, my background also includes a great deal of business litigation experience. This familiarity with the courts and procedure has proven valuable in terms of handling family law cases. I am able to move quickly and aggressively, perfectly willing to go to trial in order to meet the needs of my clients. This trait is valuable in both business law and valuable in family law.

Divorce is the most common family law matter. Of course, divorce is not a single issue. It is a combination of many issues that need to be resolved in order for a father's life to be untangled from the mother's life. These issues include:
